Neil Armstrong

He's the coolest customer, and walked on the moon first!

After having to eject from the Flying Bedstead only a second or 2 before crashing, he was calmly back in his office reviewing the paperwork.

During the lunar landing he carried on despite several computer alarms, and had to manually select a new landing site; finally touching down with only a few seconds of fuel remaining.

The Top Five Reasons Neil Armstrong is the Best Astronaut

  • Coolest under pressure
  • Was chosen to do the first moonwalk
  • Modest
  • Great pilot
  • Sense of humour
